His royal cuteness! King of Bhutan follows in Kate's footsteps by taking adorable portraits of his baby son for the monarchs' September calendar

The King of Bhutan has followed in the Duchess of Cambridge's footsteps by getting behind the camera to take official portraits of his young son.

Proud dad King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck snapped three adorable new pictures of his six-month-old for the royals' official September calendar.

The images show a beaming Prince Jigme Namgyal Wangchuck wearing a traditional checked robe with cream cuffs and navy shoes, as well as a yellow badge bearing his father's image.
